Tell us about a subject you enjoy studying
Hi everyone
Today I come to tell you what in
my early childhood education career I love to study, which is psychomotor
skills, which consists of studying the psychic and motor development of a child
up to 7 years old, what this branch of study seeks It is to achieve a balance
in the child developing in an integral way, I enjoy studying this because I see
how children learn autonomously through play where creativity and various
skills can be observed, the adult being a simple observer who delivers the
materials intentionally but without intervening directly. In this process I
have learned several things such as that children have their own rhythm to
develop and that they should not be pressured, that the bond of attachment is
the basis for the child to develop safely without fears and insecurities, that
play It is the main learning technique, that the materials and toys must be
organized since they are a fundamental tool in the process, as well as how it
is a psychomotor session and how it should be done with adequate materials and
times respecting the different phases, etc. At first I thought that this was
very complex to understand either by the name "psychomotor" but then
when I started studying I realized that this began to attract a lot of
attention, becoming my favorite branch.
Thank you very much for your
attention.
