My dream job

 

Hello everyone, today I come to talk about the work I would like to do, this would be to be director of a kindergarten in a garden where inclusion is one of the main hallmarks where children with different abilities where they feel welcome and for this I believe that professionals should be trained, I would like the garden has all the necessary elements for activities.

In the first place I would have to have the ability to manage, be creative, empathetic, have disposition, friendly, etcetera. I also consider that the salary should be commensurate and dignified since the work that the educators do is fundamental in the first stage of the children because they are the first learnings that they have to approach society. Therefore, as mentioned above, the profession that I want to practice and I am practicing and I hope to deepen more is in the field of education because I want to make a change in the perspective on kindergarten education so that people stop seeing this career and gardens as nurseries and caregivers, but for that there is a lot of work to be done, On the other hand, I would like children to be considered as subjects of rights because although they always say that they are constructivists of their knowledge, they are considered as objects and in a behaviorist way and I think that should change because the protagonist is the child and not the educator. . I wish that all the educators of the University of Chile or a great part of us would unite to make this change together.
